Begin your safari with a morning pickup from your Mombasa hotel or airport. Travel approximately 5 hours to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest protected area, famous for its large elephant herds, lions, rhinos, buffalo, and abundant birdlife (over 500 species recorded). Enjoy wildlife sightings along the way before arriving at Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, hippos, and a variety of antelope. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and drive approximately 5 hours to Amboseli National Park, set at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Stop for game viewing en route and arrive at Manjaro Tented Camp / Oltukai Lodge for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this world-famous park, home to large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and buffalo. Amboseli is also renowned for its prolific birdlife, featuring over 600 species. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive approximately 5 hours to Lake Naivasha, stopping along the Great Rift Valley escarpment to admire the stunning scenery. Upon arrival, check in at Chambai Safari Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can enjoy walking safaris, cycling, hiking, rock climbing, wildlife photography, and a visit to the geothermal power plant. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Following breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive approximately 5 hours to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through Narok town. Check in at Enchoro Wildlife Camp for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up early for a morning game drive, returning to the camp for breakfast. Afterward, spend a full day exploring the Mara with a packed lunch, looking for the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. Witness herds of wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelle roaming the plains. Crocodiles and hippos can be spotted in the Mara River, particularly during the July–September wildebeest migration. Birdlife in the Mara is abundant, including eagles, ostriches, storks, and vultures. Return to Enchoro Wildlife Camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out of the camp and drive approximately 5 hours back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport. Optional: For clients with evening flights, a late morning game drive with a packed lunch can be arranged before departure.
