After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, we will pick you up and drive along the floor of the rift valley while enjoying the features there is. Lunch en route, arriving in Masai Mara in time for afternoon game drive. Accommodation at Manyatta camp or similar.

Morning game drive in Mara, then depart Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for birdlife, and home to bushbuck, wart hog, leopard, and rare Rothschild giraffe. Accommodation at Chester hotel.

Board the 08:00am Scheduled Shuttle bus to Arusha, to arrive there at about 1:00pm; met on arrival and have a night in Arusha Centre Inn or similar. Estimated driving distance: 5hrs drive
Leave Arusha for Lake Manyara; game drives in Lake Manyara. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, camping at Twiga Campsite. Estimated driving distance: 2.5hrs drive

Arusha - Tarangire. A safari briefing at breakfast prepares you for an exciting adventure. Depart for Tarangire national park, named after the river that flows through the length of the park and provides a constant water source for the thousands of animals making their home here. Tarangire is most spectacular during the dry season when thousands of animals migrate into the park from the surrounding dry Maasai steppe, to use the permanent water supply of the Tarangire river. You can see herds of elephants, numbering over a hundred. Lunch at the camp/picnic lunch and enjoy afternoon game viewing drives. After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti, in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed, camping at Seronera Campsite. Estimated driving distance: 4hrs drive

Very early Game drive in the vast Serengeti plain. After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive and Picnic Lunch en route to Ngorongoro Kudu campsite. Estimated driving distance: 3hrs drive
Optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. This cost TSH27000 (approx. $20) per person payable direct to the museum.
Descend into Ngorongoro crater for game drives in the crater exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games, then drive to Arusha.
