After an early morning game drive and breakfast at the lodge, depart Tsavo East for Tsavo West National Park, roughly a 4-hour drive. En route, enjoy game viewing as the scenery changes from savannah to rugged volcanic landscapes. Arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge, a mid-range lodge with floodlit waterholes where leopards and other wildlife can sometimes be seen. Check in, have lunch, then continue with an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s unique habitats. Return for dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.
Rise early for a morning game drive before departing Tsavo West. Visit Mzima Springs, a natural oasis with crystal-clear waters home to hippos, fish, crocodiles, and monkeys. Continue the 3-hour drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check in at Manjaro Tented Camp, enjoy lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and other wildlife in the park’s swamp and plains. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
